Flood Season Approaches: Watch How People's Armed Police Officers and Soldiers Forge Hard Skills in Water Rescue
As flood season draws near, the People's Armed Police (PAP) Jiangxi General Corps Shangrao Detachment has, over consecutive days, kept a close eye on the characteristics of water bodies in its garrison area and the disaster risks of the flood season, rapidly organizing officers and soldiers to conduct specialized flood-control and emergency-rescue training, comprehensively forging water rescue and embankment emergency-response capabilities.

"Emergency assembly!" As the urgent sound of a whistle pierced the garrison area, officers and soldiers quickly donned their gear, loaded up, formed up, and deployed with high efficiency. The detachment employed an unannounced, on-the-spot command-and-control method to test the unit's emergency response capability.
"When leaving the bank, watch the current carefully; when approaching the bank, slow down in advance and find the right angle!" In open-water areas, assault-boat intensive training was in full swing. Instructors, drawing on representative cases, explained one by one the boat-handling techniques and key points for avoiding danger in complex currents, hidden reefs, and treacherous shoals. Multiple assault boats flexibly shifted formations—advancing in a line, arraying in a triangle—while simultaneously exploring coordinated tactical drills combining "unmanned aerial vehicles + watercraft," effectively improving search-and-rescue efficiency.

This training comprehensively tested officers' and soldiers' rapid-response and coordinated-response capabilities, and cultivated a core group of personnel proficient in watercraft operation and embankment emergency response.
