PLA Daily, Beijing, May 27 — The Central Military Commission recently issued the 'Several Measures on Strengthening the Education, Management, and Supervision of Senior Military Cadres' (hereinafter referred to as the 'Several Measures').

The 'Several Measures' adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's Thought on Strengthening the Military (习近平强军思想), comprehensively carry out the strategy of building the military through politics in the new era (新时代政治建军方略), draw upon and apply the practical experience and institutional achievements of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and comprehensively and strictly governing the military in the new era, implement the requirements for conducting ideological rectification (思想整风) and deepening political consolidation training (政治整训), and firmly establish iron rules (铁规矩) of strict education, strict management, and strict supervision.
