When officers and soldiers of a brigade under Army Group 72 of the Army participated in a combat shooting assessment, they drove amphibious armored fighting vehicles at high speed to complete a 180-degree drift, seizing the initiative for victory and annihilating an "enemy" attempting to outflank and launch a surprise attack from the rear.

Pilots of a brigade under Army Group 76 of the Army trained hard in the tactics of zoom-climb and dive shooting, tearing open defensive blind spots for helicopters and gaining the upper hand in aerial combat.
