7th Military Big Data Forum Held. PLA Daily, Guiyang, May 21 — Reported by correspondent Li Youzhi and special correspondent Liu Xuetao: On May 21, the 7th Military Big Data Forum was held in Guiyang, known as "China's Data Valley." The forum, themed "Combat Power Transformation Through Digital-Intelligent Technology (数智科技战斗力转化)," featured a main forum and six sub-forums, conducted in the form of expert presentations, thematic discussions, and results exhibitions.
This year's forum leveraged Guiyang's concentrated advantages in the big data industry, integrating digital economy development resources with national defense science and technology innovation capabilities, to concentrate efforts on advancing high-quality development and high-efficiency transformation of military digital-intelligent technology (军事数智科技). Participating experts and scholars exchanged views and held discussions on topics including digital-intelligence-enabled scientific research, high-value data mining and decision-making, and trusted applications of large-model intelligent agents (大模型智能体), offering recommendations for the deeper implementation of big data technology in the military domain.
