On May 20, PAP Guizhou General Corps units — specifically the Qiannan Detachment at Changming Experimental Primary School in Guiding County and the Qiandongnan Detachment in Leping Village, Majiang County — conducted post-flood silt-clearing operations using high-pressure water guns and hand tools following sustained heavy rainfall in Qiandongnan and Qiannan Prefectures. This is standard PAP disaster-relief content; it documents the corps' two-detachment response footprint and the sector-divided grid clearing method (分片划区、网格清理) as the operational approach used at the tactical level, providing a baseline record of how PAP provincial general corps units are publicly framed in domestic emergency response roles.

In recent days, Majiang County in Qiandongnan Prefecture and Guiding County in Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, have experienced sustained heavy rainfall that triggered localized flood disasters. On May 20, as floodwaters gradually receded, officers and soldiers of the People's Armed Police (PAP) Guizhou General Corps devoted their full effort to silt-clearing operations in the disaster areas, helping local residents restore normal production and daily life as quickly as possible.

In Changming Town, Guiding County, Qiannan Prefecture, officers and soldiers of the PAP Guizhou General Corps Qiannan Detachment entered Changming Experimental Primary School, where silt accumulation was particularly severe. Employing a sector-divided, grid-based clearing method (分片划区、网格清理) and using high-pressure water guns, shovels, brooms, and other tools, they rapidly carried out silt-clearing and obstacle-removal work to help the local school resume classes as soon as possible.

In Leping Village, Bamang Township, Majiang County, officers and soldiers of the PAP Guizhou General Corps Qiandongnan Detachment, armed with shovels, pickaxes, and other tools, conducted a thorough cleanup of silt, garbage, and debris accumulated on the village's main roads, residential pathways, and around homes. They simultaneously cleared blocked drainage ditches and removed obstacles from road surfaces, racing against time to restore road access through the village and return residents to normal production and daily life.

At present, silt-clearing operations are continuing in an intense and orderly manner.
