PAP Guizhou General Corps Officers and Soldiers Devote Full Effort to Silt-Clearing and Obstacle-Removal Operations
In recent days, Majiang County in Qiandongnan Prefecture and Guiding County in Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, have experienced sustained heavy rainfall that triggered localized flood disasters. On May 20, as floodwaters gradually receded, officers and soldiers of the People's Armed Police (PAP) Guizhou General Corps devoted their full effort to silt-clearing operations in the disaster areas, helping local residents restore normal production and daily life as quickly as possible.

In Changming Town, Guiding County, Qiannan Prefecture, officers and soldiers of the PAP Guizhou General Corps Qiannan Detachment entered Changming Experimental Primary School, where silt accumulation was particularly severe. Employing a sector-divided, grid-based clearing method (分片划区、网格清理) and using high-pressure water guns, shovels, brooms, and other tools, they rapidly carried out silt-clearing and obstacle-removal work to help the local school resume classes as soon as possible.
