United Through Hardship! People's Armed Police Officers and Soldiers Assist Disaster Areas in Full-Scale Transfer of Relief Supplies
On May 21, following an earthquake disaster, Liunan District in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, was struck by continued heavy rainfall. The Liuzhou Detachment of the PAP Guangxi General Corps responded immediately upon receiving orders, urgently assembling 57 officers and soldiers to once again rush to the front lines of the affected area, racing against time to carry out emergency rescue and relief operations.
PAP officers and soldiers are currently holding the front lines in the disaster area, responsible for tasks including the loading, unloading, and transport of materials at the disaster site, as well as maintaining order in the affected area. As of 1500 hours that day, a cumulative total of three batches of emergency support supplies had been transferred, encompassing more than 3,000 units of bottled drinking water, more than 450 cartons of ready-to-eat food, more than 1,200 folding cots, and other items, effectively ensuring that relief operations proceed smoothly and in an orderly manner and genuinely safeguarding the basic daily needs of disaster-affected residents.
