At approximately 0500 on May 19, the Qiandongnan Detachment of the People's Armed Police Guizhou General Corps deployed to Gudong Town and Bamang Township in Majiang County following severe flooding across multiple Qiandongnan Prefecture locations, bringing kayaks, life jackets, and life rings for rescue and subsequent silt-clearing operations. This is standard PAP domestic emergency-response reporting; its value is as a baseline record of the Qiandongnan Detachment's flood-relief activation timeline and equipment, not as evidence of any change in posture or capability.

Recently, extremely heavy rain, severe rainstorms, and other intense rainfall events occurred across multiple locations in Guizhou, causing varying degrees of flood and waterlogging disasters in some villages and hamlets. At approximately 0500 hours on May 19, officers and soldiers of the Qiandongnan Detachment of the People's Armed Police Guizhou General Corps were urgently mobilized and rushed with kayaks, life jackets, life rings, and other equipment to Gudong Town and Bamang Township in Majiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, and multiple other locations, doing their utmost to safeguard the lives and property of the people. At present, People's Armed Police officers and soldiers are carrying out street silt-clearing and other work in an orderly manner.

近日,贵州多地出现特大暴雨、大暴雨等强降雨过程,造成部分村寨不同程度出现洪涝灾害。5月19日5时许,武警贵州总队黔东南支队官兵紧急出动,携带皮划艇、救生衣、救生圈等器材紧急奔赴黔东南州麻江县谷硐镇、坝芒乡等多地,全力守护人民群众生命财产安全。目前,武警官兵正在有序开展街道清淤等工作。
