PLA Daily report by Wang Shuai and Yang Shiwei: On August 13 (local time), China's 12th Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to South Sudan (Juba) held a Force Commander Commendation award ceremony. United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Force Commander Wu Junhui attended the ceremony and presented Force Commander Commendations to 31 officers and soldiers in recognition of their outstanding contributions in carrying out peacekeeping missions.

At the ceremony, all officers and soldiers stood in neat formation with upright bearing. Wu Junhui spoke highly of the overall work of the peacekeeping infantry battalion.
