Over more than 10 days, the Chinese peacekeepers completed all clearance and remediation work in areas including three firing ranges, an ammunition disposal site, perimeter roads, and affiliated parking lots. They detected and cleared 167 signal sources, including bullets and shell fragments, thoroughly eliminating all safety hazards at the site. The UNIFIL Headquarters compound has reportedly been struck on multiple occasions by small-arms fire, artillery shells, and armed drones, resulting in a number of dangerous situations.
