Corporal Promotion Assessments: Watch How They "Clear the Hurdles and Level Up"
Recently, the Yuncheng Detachment of the Shanxi Corps of the People's Armed Police Force rigorously organized the 2026 summer-autumn cycle corporal selection and promotion assessments (警士选晋考核). Candidate soldiers gathered at the examination venue to compete side by side, embarking on their "promotion" journey.
This assessment was conducted in accordance with the principles of "fairness and impartiality, strict procedures, upholding standards, and selecting the best of the best." Three major assessment modules were established — military physical fitness, professional skills, and political theory — to comprehensively evaluate candidates' overall capabilities and suitability for their positions.

The selection and promotion assessment is not only a "qualifying competition" bearing on individual growth and advancement, but also a "declaration" to the organization of one's conviction to take root in the military camp and remain committed to strengthening the armed forces. Every drop of burning sweat, every moment of pushing to the limit, is a resounding oath to march toward combat, and the vivid backdrop of a camouflage-clad youth. On the road of being tempered into steel, they are striving with loyalty and passion to write their own brilliant chapter.
