Breaking Waves and Honing the Blade, Forging Elite Flood-Control and Rescue Troops!
In order to meet the requirements of flood-control and emergency response missions and consolidate officers and soldiers' practical water emergency rescue capabilities, the People's Armed Police Guangxi General Corps recently conducted a specialized training camp for assault boat operators in unfamiliar and complex waters, tailored to the characteristics of flood-season missions, to temper officers and soldiers' practical water operation skills and formation-based cooperative rescue capabilities.
This training camp leveraged the complex water environment of the Yong River to conduct professional training in accordance with combat requirements. Training covered 15 key areas, including boat departure and docking, basic navigation, figure-eight and "O-type" maneuvering, formation sailing, water rescue, and equipment troubleshooting.
This training camp closely mirrors actual combat conditions. Its purpose is to cultivate a group of professional backbone personnel who "can drive, can clear obstacles, can conduct rescues, and can avoid hazards" (会驾驶、会排障、会救援、会避险), to further elevate the overall practical combat quality of the boat operator force, and to lay a solid foundation of personnel support for the unit to efficiently accomplish diverse mission tasks such as flood prevention and water emergency response during the flood season.
